- With other delegates: Your name, university, and profile information (based on your privacy settings) may be visible to other conference attendees through the delegate directory and when you connect via QR code scanning.
- With conference organizers: CFES staff and CDE 2026 volunteers may access your information to facilitate the conference.
- With sponsors: Only if you explicitly opt-in by visiting sponsor booths and scanning your badge.
- Service providers: We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, which processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Your Privacy Controls
You have control over your information:
- Profile visibility: You can choose whether to appear in the delegate directory.
- Contact sharing: You control whether your email and LinkedIn are visible to connections.
- Profile editing: You can update or delete your profile information at any time through the portal.
- Account deletion: You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication, with row-level security policies to ensure users can only access appropriate data.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. After the conference, we may retain anonymized aggregate data for statistical purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Service uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase: For authentication and database services
- Google OAuth: For sign-in functionality
- Apple Sign-In: For sign-in functionality
- Vercel: For website hosting
